Hippo

Made from various trips to London. The project focuses on the tension inherent in linearity. Lasting and fleeting moments positioned against the city and the unseen hippo bones beneath it.

Herds of tourists in plazas where hippos grazed. I wish we could start over knowing what we do now, doubts and regrets wiped away. London knows we don’t need to , just keep growing, trying, and moving forward. To be a tourist in London, even briefly; how lucky to pass through the herd and allow ourselves forward.
